At the Saint John Community Food Basket, our volunteers are provided the opportunity to give back to the community by volunteering their time and skills.

OPERATIONAL VOLUNTEERS

There are several exciting ways to volunteer in the day-to-day operations of the SJ Food Basket. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are limited in the number of volunteers we are permitted to have in-house. Please review the Board of Directors committees and consider applying for one of those opportunities. Otherwise, we will have these tasks available once restrictions are removed:

  • Stocking Shelves

  • Organizing Inventory

  • Serving Clients 

  • Unloading Deliveries

  • Food Drives

  • Dividing Bulk Items into Smaller Portions

  • Client Greeter

  • Check-In Clients

  • Fundraising Opportunities
